The former Detroit News building, originally opening in 1917,  finds new purpose by housing a redesigned floor of training rooms for incoming Quicken Loans’ Mortgage Bankers. The space features glass-enclosed conference rooms, team member workstations, multiple kitchen areas, and rooms that preserve much of the building’s original architectural.  Honoring the historical significance of the former News building was vital to the design process. Light fixtures in the main kitchen flaunt old newspaper advertisements, and each conference room is named after a popular daily newspaper from around the nation.
