Globe Tobacco Building

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Globe Tobacco Building is an iconic Detroit building with beautiful masonry and timber details and an impressive seven-story sunlit atrium. Unfortunately, years of renovations had drained the building of much of its original character. Starting in 2014, dPOP worked closely with Bedrock Detroit to restore the building’s historic interior. Today, dPOP’s efforts to accentuate the space’s industrial details can be seen throughout the building’s lobby, atrium, corridors, elevators, and toilet rooms.
